This raita is so delectable that it is a MUST with any Biryani | Pulav! I love this and a small bowl of this as an evening refresher is always welcome!
Ingredients:
1 cup Dahi | Curd, thick
1 Kheera | Cucumber, peeled and diced
2 Spring Onion, finely chopped
1 tblsp Fresh Anar dana | Pomegranate seeds
1 tblsp Fresh Dhania | Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
1/2 tblspFresh Pudina | Mint Leaves, crushed gently with fingers
1/4 tsp Kala Namak | Rock Salt | to taste
1/2 tsp Rai | Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Rai | Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Oil
Method:
- Add all the ingredients except rai and oil, in a mixing bowl.
- Make a tempering of the rai and when rai splutters pour into the mixing bowl.
- Mix well...check for salt and adjust accordingly.
- Transfer into serving bowl.
- Serve along with any Rice, Biryani | Pulav
