Rasam is a quintessential recipe of the SouthIndian Cuisine. An elixir! A flavoured tangy soup that can be had as is or along with steamed Rice. The base is normally Imli | Tamarind extract paired with Toor dal and spices. With or without vegetables, this is simply awesome!
Be it a rainy day, or when your are under weather or just anytime, a warm cuppa of this is sure to lift your spirits! In fact, I prefer it chilled! Tastes awesome!
