Bombay Veg Sandwich - A quick, easy and delicious Snack!

Those who are Mumbaikars and those who visit us, will definitely be nostalgic about the variety of STREET FOOD available here....Various plaves have their special Khau Galis..with atleast one such Chaat | Street Food being the Rock Star that pulls crowds to that place.

Of the lot, one humble, filling, tasty, delicious, easy to make element is my favourite - Bombay Veg Sandwich! This is a great Tea-Time Snack | Tiffin | Picnic | Get together Menu Option!A jhatpat healthy filler, with vegetables, a delectable Coriander Mint Chutney, homemade butter, a dash of rock salt and chat masala...and an added dunk in Tomato Ketchup...you are left content!

Sometimes Appa will ask if we may have Bread! Appa loves bread as a plain veggie sandwich, plain toast...or his Bread Dosa, Masala Bread Dosa and Bread Upama! We tend to have bakery items just once a month! Amma is yet to try her hand at Baking! I am sure she would do wonders even in this style of cooking! Till then, our breads are outsourced! I generally try to get multi-grain, whole wheat Organic Breads | Pavs | Burgers and they are either from FoodSpot a local awesome shop or Moshes Breads!
