Frantic Monday mornings, after a restful weekend are a sure shot creativity boosters as they always motivate me to make a filling, nutritious and healthy breakfast that can be made in a jiffy. One such saviour on a busy week day is this yummy Choco Honey Walnut Banana Smoothie!
Simply add the ingredients, combine them and you are good to go with a healthy start to your day! I generally prepare these smoothies when I am very busy and do not get time to make an elaborate breakfast! This satiates my appetite till my mid morning snack which I surely carry along with my lunch to work!
Amma Appa on rare occasions, would ask for this since they prefer to eat bananas and munch on walnuts!
INGREDIENTS
2 Ripe Bananas, peeled
1 cup Milk, chilled
2 + 1 Walnuts
1 tsp Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
1 tsp Honey
1/2 tsp Dark Chocolate, grated | To taste
METHOD
- Combine chilled milk, honey, ripe bananas, 2 walnuts and Cacao Powder.
- Pour into serving glass.
- Garnish with grated dark chocolate and walnut.
- Serve chilled.
