Carrot Orange Ginger Zinger

We tend to eat fresh fruits, whole, so that we get all the nutrients as well as the fiber! But sometimes...there is a need to have something liquid! We do not prefer any canned juice as they are loaded with sugar and preservatives. So whenever there is this urge for a juice...be it an early morning zinger instead of a caffeine jolt or on a sunny afternoon for something cool and refreshing, we make fresh juices at home with our handy Philips HR1858.

Carrot Orange Ginger Zinger is very easy to make. Carrot is rich in Vitamin - A, K, B6, C and E, antioxidants, folate, thiamine, niacin, potassium and manganese. Orange is rich in Vitamin - C, A, and B6, thiamine, folate, calcium and magnesium.  Ginger is rich in antioxidants and anti -inflammatory compounds.

INGREDIENTS

  • Peel the orange skin. Taste to check if they are sweet. If not, then you may add sugar as per taste to sweeten it. Our oranges were sweet so we did not add any sweetner.
  • Peel carrot and cut them into halves.
  • Peel Ginger.
  • Juice all three. You can also juice the same in a mixie, then strain them.
  • Serve immediately as to get all the benefits of the juice it is best to drink them as soon as they are juiced!
