In the fast paced Mumbai life, to eat a traditional full course meal, is a luxury...that too if it is home cooked made with love and affection! Really blessed!

Amma makes it a point that atleast once a month, we have a leisurely meal, which is as traditional as possible with no compromise on Health Quotient - so obviously with healthy twists!

This month was an ode to Chiru Keerai | Amarnath Leaves as these are really nutritious and very delicious recipes can be made from them! So our Lunch comprised Chiru Keerai Tomato Rasam along with Millet RiceChiru Keerai MolagootalLemon Adrak Mirchi Pickle, Green Moong Sprouts and Roasted Rice Papads. To satiate the sweet cravings, Amma came out with an instant winner - Thinai Payasam, a sweet made with Foxtail Millet, Jaggery and milk!
