Morning Shot - a healthy way to start your Day! CHEERS!!!

With season's fresh Amla | Gooseberry easily available in our local market, Appa, who loves Amla, got 2 kilos of the same! Amma has planned many interesting recipes to be made from them...Nelikkai Urgai, Amla Rice...To begin with each day after a glass of warm water early in the morning the first thing we three relish is our Morning Shot! This is really a healthy way to start our day! Vitamin C enriched and iron fortified thanks to Amla and Kadhi Patta | Curry Leaves and the most nutrient - Lemon Juice! This is really refreshing and delicious!

The health benefits of Amla | Gooseberry, Kadhi Patta | Curry Leaves and Lemon is known to most of us. Be it from boosting our immune system to being Vitamin enriched to giving a host of positive benefits for our skin, hair and overall health, this combination is a winner!

Morning Shot - Amla | Curry Leaves | Lemon - Juice

INGREDIENTS

4 Amla | Gooseberry, medium size, chopped and de seeded
10 to 12 sprigs Kadhi Patta | Curry Leaves
1/2 Lemon's Juice
200 ml Water

METHOD
  • Wash and dry Kadhi Patta on a kitchen towel.
  • Grind chopped Amla and Kadhi Patta to a smooth paste. Sprinkle water as required to aid grinding.
  • Transfer to a bowl and add water. Mix well.
  • Strain the same to get clear Morning Shot.
  • Serve.

Note:
a. You can refrigerate Morning Shot in an air tight bottle. This will stay fresh for a day.
b. Within half an hour after extracting the juice, consume.
