Whittaker's | Dark Ghana | Review

Chocolates Chocolates Chocolates....just love them...especially the Dark Chocolates...

Its with sheer will power that I relish my favourite chocolates in measured serve portions! With the best brands of dark chocolates easily available in India, I try out the dark variants - once in a while.

This time chanced to get my hands on Whittaker's Dark Ghana which has 72% Cocoa!!

Whittaker's  since 1896, has its origins in New Zealand. What inspired me to buy this slab of  250 gms of dark cocoa heaven is the fact that  Whittaker's are associated with Fairtrade. The price for this is Rs.650/- and we got this from Bigbasket.

The packaging is very elegant..just wish that Bigbasket while handling ensures they are delivered intact!

Now for the main thing..the chocolate itself!!!

Awesome..pure bliss...as one puts a piece in the mouth ...it takes some time to melt...the texture is not very smooth..but as you relish it..the bitter sweet cocoa hits you and you are in chocolate heaven! The taste is impressive, bold... though would have enjoyed a smoother feel to the palette.

Amma and Appa loved the taste. Whenever feel like "kuch meetha ho jaye", a small piece of Dark Ghana would be most welcome.

Will definetly buy it. This slab we had in its purest form...may be the next one will consider making some dish using it!

Till then,,,take care...
