A chatpata snack that can be made in a jiffy, with no compromise in flavours and to top it can be spun into healthier avatars is what makes this Bhel Puri a top favourite! Be it Sukha Bhel to the Spicy Chatakdar Bhel to that laced with hints of sweet chutney ..this is a wonderful Chat | Street Food.
Ingredients:
200 gm Kurmura | Puffed Rice
1 Onion, medium, finely diced
1 Potato, small, boiled and finely diced
1 Tomato, small, de-seeded and finely diced
2 tblsp Fresh Anar Dane | Pomegranate Seed
2 tblsp Fresh Dhania | Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
2 Green chillies, finely chopped
4 tblsp Sweet Chutney
2 tblsp Sev
2 tblsp Boondi
8 Puris
1 tblsp Lemon Juice
Method:
- In a mixing bowl add the puffed rice, 2 crushed puri, half of the boondi and half of the Sev and mix well.
- Add the chopped potatoes, tomatoes, anar dane, chopped dhania and green chillies. Mix well.
- Add 2 tblsp of Sweet chutney and the lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve in a plate garnishing with the remaining Sev, Boondi and Puri. As per taste, drizzle the Sweet Chutney on top.
- This quantity serves 3.
